About Tigh a'Chomainn
Tigh a’Chomainn is an urban community supporting individuals to develop their independence within a community setting. We aim to assist adults with special needs to explore their personal potential so that they may find purpose, direction and a sense of fulfilment in their lives. The community provides a stable home setting, enabling people to build life skills through the development of personal responsibility and to lead a valued life and to contribute to the wider community.
Our community provides accommodation for seven permanent residents and one respite place in two residential houses.
Tigh a’Chomainn offers a day service processing fire wood for sale in the local area. This is open to non residents.
