About Simeon Care for the Elderly

Simeon Care for the Elderly is a Scottish Charity providing a care home with nursing to 23 older people. Since 1984, we have supported older people to live an active, meaningful and purposeful life in a community of care. Simeon offers a small home and a care model that is able to adapt to meet the physical, social, mental and spiritual needs of our residents.

We aspire to be a high quality nursing care home where residents and their families have a sense of security knowing that Simeon will be their home for the rest of their life due to the provision of palliative and end of life care. Nearly all residents have died at home in Simeon, as was their wish, with family at their bedside. We work together to create a loving community of care, and help make the last years of life rich, joyful and rewarding – “May you live all the days of your life” J. Swift.
